Internode submission on the NBNCo Multicast Feature, Technology and Pricing Document

Tuesday, August 30th, 2011 by

In August 2011, NBNCo released a public document (http://www.nbnco.com.au/assets/documents/multicast-product-prcing-overview-aug-11.pdf) providing further details about the technical and pricing constructs of their intended IP Multicast service offering over the NBN.

Internode has provided feedback regarding this document to NBNCo.

The NBNCo document is public, and our submission in response is also public.

In our response, we have provided some proposals to change the NBN multicast offering in ways that we believe would improve the outcome for all concerned.

The rationale for those proposed changes is also provided in our submission.

You can download our submission here:

NBNCo Multicast Feedback from Internode

We hope that our views on this topic are of interest and that they may potentially be of use in improving the outcomes regarding this important aspect of the NBN service suite.
