If you pay your bill over the phone with a credit card, or if you’d like to do so, today you will notice there’s a different voice asking for your payment details. Don’t panic – this is just part of a change we’ve made to make processing credit card payments over the phone even safer than before.
What have we changed?
In the interests of processing all credit card payments in the most secure way possible we have partnered with the Commonwealth Bank, who are now processing payments by credit card on our behalf. This means we can provide our customers with the most secure payment processing available, as well as allowing us to focus on what we do best – providing you with a great internet experience.
So, when you call Internode to pay your bill by credit card our voiceover guy, Robbie, will say “We’re about to transfer you to our automated payment gateway” and a female voice from the Commonwealth Bank will ask for your payment details. You’ll hear this new voice when you call us on 13 NODE and select to pay your bill by credit card (option 4, 1) or if you call our Accounts team directly on 1300 553 233.
It’s just another thing we’re doing to improve your experience with Internode.
